Barnstable Newcomers Club: World Travel with Connie Champlin

Connie Champlin of Centerville will share her tips and techniques for travelers to make the most of any trip. She lectures at Sandwich Community School and Academy for Lifelong Learning. Connie is an author, educator and librarian. Her travels have taken her to theaters in London, museums in Italy, rivers in Thailand, beaches in the Galapagos and markets in Morocco. She periodically leads tours to the Galapagos Islands. She'll talk about using the internet as a resource for the traveler, advising on the best travel sites, and locating the lowest price for airfare and accommodations.
The Barnstable Newcomers Club welcomes all Barnstable residents, regardless of the amount of time you have lived here. The club meets the third Wednesday of the month. Annual dues are $10 per person.
